Disgruntled Sundowns fans want Mosimane out

NATIONAL NEWS - A section of Mamelodi Sundowns fans has called for the removal of coach Pitso Mosimane, should he fail to win the Nedbank Cup.

Mosimane, the first black South African coach to lift the Absa Premiership trophy last season, has all but failed to successfully defend the title.

He has also failed to guide Sundowns to the MTN8 title and Caf Champions League glory.

The fans are alleging Mosimane has failed to use the resources at his disposal and are now calling for club boss Patrice Motsepe to fire Mosimane if he doesn’t bring home the Nedbank Cup.

Meanwhile, Sundowns will be looking to redeem themselves when they take on Platinum Stars at the Lucas Moripe Stadium tonight.
