GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - After nine rounds in the Six Gun Grill SWD Premier League competition, Pacaltsdorp United (42 points), are still leading the log after all teams have completed nine matches.
Union Stars (34 points) are in the second position and Knysna Cavaliers (27 points) are in the third place.
Harlequins Forces are fourth at 20 points while George have slipped to the fifth position (15 points) after they were penalised by eight points for the transgression of a slow over rate.
Mossel Bay (11 points – 6th), Plett Pioneers (7 points – 7th) and Sussex (6 points – 8th) are all still caught up in the relegation zone.
Sussex C and Pacaltsdorp United B have advanced to the final of the Reserve League that will be contested on Saturday.
Blanco vs Union Stars B and Hartenbos vs Kranshoek Dolphin Cobras will battle it out for a place in the Promotion Division 2 league when the semi-finals will be hosted this weekend.
