OUDTSHOORN CRICKET NEWS - The SWD women's cricket is keen to start the season on a high note when they take on Eastern Province at St George's Park in Port Elizabeth this weekend in their two first matches of the season.
The limited overs match will be played on Saturday and the T20 match will be played on Sunday. SWD will field experienced players like Elzaan Pietersen, Julandi Saayman, Miceala Andrews, Marnazelle Rabie and Haroline Rhodes.
The young Annerie Dercksen from Beaufort West will make her debut for the SWD ladies. She excelled at last year's Cricket SA u.19 national week.
The SWD team, coached by Shaun Pretorius and managed by Michelee Weyers, is:
