The Mossel Bay team were too strong for the Knysa 'boytjies' and defeated them with 73 runs. Knysna won the toss and send in Sussex to bat first.
Sussex were bowled out for a total of 155 for 10 wickets in 31.4 overs, with Justin Hofman 22, Lando Olkers 38 and Christiano de Grass 22 the three batsmen that carried the team to this steady defending total.
Knysna's batsmen could not settled down and were bowled out for 82 for 10 wickets in 21 overs.
Wickets were taken by Curswin Fortuin 2/3, Jessie Rossouw 1/28, Justin Hofman 1/24 and Emilio Frederic 5/9. It was Emilio's first game with the club.
