GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - George (211 all out) recorded a bonus victory against Union Stars (145 all out) at the Bridgton Sport Grounds on Saturday, thanks to an impressive batting performance by Heath Richards (89) and a match-winning bowling display by Mark Andrianatos (5/42) and Jaco Fourie (4/34).
Knysna Cavaliers (153/3) remain at the top of the log after defeating Sussex (152 all out) by seven wickets, to also bag a bonus point victory.
Keanan Vieira, as the previous weekend, excelled with the bat (51*) and took 3/32 with the ball. Levin Muller scored 61 for Sussex.
Rhupino Plaatjies (5/21) was the hero for Harlequins (120/7) on their home ground, winning their second consecutive match against Mossel Bay (119 all out). Harlequins won by a vital bonus point.
A half century by Robert Cunningham (55) ensured a five-wicket bonus point victory for Plett Pioneers (135/5) against Ramblers (134 all out). De Wet Goedhals bagged 5/32 for the winning side, who reached the target in the 37th over.
