MOSSEL BAY CRICKET NEWS - Two SWD cricketers recently received recognition for their outstanding performances during Cricket South Africa National Cricket weeks.
Following a destructive 130 and ending third highest runs scorer at the USSA A Week (B-Section) with 213 runs at an average of 71, Levin Muller, was selected to represent the USSA XI at the upcoming Future Cup to be held in Potchefstroom during April.
Muller is a former SWD Schools player and currently a member of the SWD Academy intake.
Following her selection for the SA Schools Fillies XI in 2017, Annerie Dercksen from Sentraal High School in Beaufort West was selected for the SA Schools Girls XI after the conclusion of the Girls U19 Cricket week that was held during December 2018 at Michaelhouse in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.
She showed her skill during the week with both bat and ball, leading from the front as captain of the SWD Girls U19 team.
