GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The Electoral Commission of South Africa in the Western Cape is embarking on a process of promoting and advancing public policy debate on electronic voting (E-Voting) technologies and the possibility of introducing such technologies in South Africa.
The public debates and engagements that the commission intends to lead will inform attendees regarding a variety of aspects of e-voting, including benefits, challenges, risks and security related to the technology.
Residents of the Garden Route region are invited to attend the engagement in George.
