Following the Democratic Alliance’s (DA) unsuccessful attempt to have President Jacob Zuma impeached this week, civil society groups, religious leaders and some African National Congress (ANC) veterans have banded together to call for him to step down.
Civil society leaders are unified in their call for Zuma to step down, but they say Zuma alone can’t be blamed for all the country’s leadership problems.
They’ve called on Members of Parliament (MPs) to 'break free' from what they call a cycle of silence, and do what is ethically right.
