Police disperse angry residents in PE

NATIONAL NEWS - Residents in Booysens in Port Elizabeth have torched a bus and stoned other vehicles during a service delivery protest.

Police have managed to disperse the crowd.

Community members became angry after government relocated them to a different area.

The police’s Aldwin Labans says they are working to clear the area.

“Police had to use rubber bullets and stun grenades to get them out of the way. At the moment the only street that's closed in that area is Booysens Park Drive.”
