Panayioutou to make 2nd bail attempt

NATIONAL NEWS - Senior advocate Mike Hellens will take centre stage today as he tries to get alleged wife killer Christopher Panayiotou released on bail.

Panayiotou recruited Hellens after his initial bail bid failed.

He is accused of hiring two men to kidnap and kill his wife Jayde earlier this year.

Panayiotou has been held at St Albans Prison since shortly after his arrest.

Jayde was kidnapped from outside her apartment complex while waiting for a lift to work.

It's round two of Panayiotou's bid to be released on bail.
