New police chief outlines 2016 policing plan

NATIONAL NEWS - Western Cape Police Commissioner Khombinkosi Jula has vowed to improve service delivery, especially in areas where communities perceive police negatively.

Jula presented his policing plan before the standing committee on community safety at the provincial legislature earlier today.

He says he'll ensure the South African Police Service (SAPS) continues to embark on intelligence-driven operations in a bid to drive out gangs, drugs and other illegal activities plaguing communities across the Cape.
