Husband of missing SA woman in Nepal refuses to lose hope
NATIONAL NEWS - The husband of a Klerksdorp woman, who has gone missing in Nepal, says he feels helpless but will decide today whether he will leave their two children behind and go help look for her.

Petro Nel went to Nepal on holiday.

She left the country on Saturday and boarded a light aircraft with a Russian pilot to fly over the Himalayas, but air traffic control lost contact with the plane.

The search and rescue operation had to stop last night.

Her husband JC Nel says, “There’s still hope. At this stage it's just to wait and see. There’s no good in losing my head now, I must stay focused.”
