Fugitive nabbed for R9 million fraud

NATIONAL NEWS - A woman has appeared in the Kuils River magistrates court in connection with fraud totalling R9 million.

The accused allegedly defrauded a courier company based in Johannesburg.

She was arrested on Tuesday morning.

The Hawks’ Lloyd Ramovha says the woman had been on the run since her co-accused was arrested in 2016.

"The matter has been remanded to 21 February and she remains in custody. She is expected to appear in the Johannesburg Specialised Commercial Crimes Court.”
