Cyclist dies during MTB race
A participant from Lydenburg passed away during the Forest 2 Falls MTB cycle race today.
NATIONAL NEWS - A participant in the Forest 2 Falls MTB cycle race passed away this afternoon.

It is believed that Mr Andre Booysen (59), who lived in Lydenburg, had a heart attack during the race.

According to race director Mr Dennis Laurie, Booysen took part in the 37 kilometre race. He collapsed about eight kilometres before the end.

A doctor who also took part was on the scene.
