GEORGE NEWS AND VIDEO - Hopes have flared up at the Victoria Street disaster site after the rescue teams found a person alive under the rubble at the disaster site. He is a tiler.

Head of Western Cape Disaster Management Colin Deiner said they will be trying to get water to him as soon as possible. They found him while working their way through the layers of concrete.
They think he is on the third floor.
The tiler said he has weight on his legs, which is a concern and two surgeons have been brought in.
Premier Alan Winde said it's a miracle. It is now 116 hours after the collapse.
