Christiaan Prinsloo has been sentenced to 18 years in prison after pleading guilty to 11 charges, including racketeering and money laundering.
In a plea agreement, Prinsloo admits he would not have stopped selling guns to gangsters, if police had not intercepted the syndicate last year.
He told the court he worked with colleagues and an arms dealers to supply weapons to gangs in Cape Town.
