NATIONAL NEWS - It’s D-day for Christopher Panayiotou and two other men.
The Port Elizabeth High Court is expected to rule if Panayiotou masterminded his wife Jayde’s murder more than two years ago.
Evidence has been given and closing arguments have been delivered and judgement now awaits Panayiotou and his two co-accused, Sinethemba Nenembe, and Zolani Sibeko.
The trial lasted for more than a year, with the State trying to prove that Panayiotou was behind his wife’s kidnapping and killing.
The prosecution has relied heavily on a secret video recording, in which the businessman seemingly implicates himself in her murder.
