Cabinet is meeting over four days at the presidential guesthouse in Pretoria.
Minister in the Presidency Jeff Radebe says President Jacob Zuma is scheduled to open the Lekgotla and set the theme for the week.
“After that, the Minister of Finance will be making a presentation on the global, domestic micro economic and fiscal situation to set a context of this Lekgotla.”
He says the implementation of Zuma’s nine-point-plan announced at the state of the nation address will also be assessed.
“With a full report on the national infrastructure programme and its implementation, and it will be followed by strategic interventions of accelerating the implementation of the medium term strategic framework.”
