Armed robbery at Castle Hotel

NATIONAL NEWS - The owners of the Castle Hotel in the Cape Town Central Business District are remaining mum about an armed robbery at the business.

Eyewitness News understands the hotel in Canterbury Street was targeted this morning.

Police vans can be seen parked at the hotel along with ADT security as well as Cape Town Central City Improvement District officers.

Staff and the hotel's manager have been told not to comment about the robbery.

Some staff members are also standing outside the premises while the hotel owners and manager give their statements to police.
