MOTORING NEWS - Newly affiliated with the Maritime Motors Group in Port Elizabeth, the Honda Auto George dealership will henceforth be known as Maritime Motors George.

As part of the Maritime group, which has been operating since 1958, the business is now a multi-franchise selling Honda, GWM and the delight…the welcome inclusion of the Haval brand.

To show their gratitude to all Honda owners who had bought and serviced their vehicles at Honda Auto over the years, Maritime Motors George held an appreciation day on Friday and Saturday, 13 and 14 March.

"We want to give something back," says dealer principal, Ivo Vankeirsbilck. "The aim of the appreciation day was to get to know the Honda owners better and to show that we care. On the Saturday we treated our clients to food and snacks and also gave away prizes." One of the grand prizes was a Honda generator, great for those dreaded load shedding days.

Buyers of new Hondas can get financial assistance of up to R35 000 for the entire month of March. The franchise is looking forward to servicing all its Hondas clients for generations to come.

"Every Honda owner is considered family," says Ivo. "We are very grateful for everyone's business, especially in these tough times. Honda is a spectacular brand. We find that Hondas very seldom falter, and if they do, we are there to help."

"Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, Maritime Motors is unable to host the opening of Haval Brand at this stage. However, we have many appealing vehicles waiting for new owners."
