MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Junior Town Council as part of Youth Day 2020, launched a campaign to celebrate the town’s youth. 

Youths were called upon to send a head and shoulders photograph of themselves to be part of a poster campaign. 

The council members themselves on request of the Mossel Bay Advertiser depicted their slogan, Even when we can’t gather, we will always stand together. 

The council members compiled this poster to wish everyone a Happy Youth Day. 

Council members are stretching out their arms to indicate the importance of social distancing, but it also signifies giving their peers a huge virtual hug. 

The photograph was prepared as a possible newspaper front page, but upon receiving it, the editorial team decided to rather share it on Youth Day.
