MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A five-day programme was held for children in KwaNonqaba during the school holiday.
The children played games and were addressed on topics such as the importance of education, the dangers of substance abuse and "creating a gangster-free zone".
The five-day event was organised by the School Holiday Programme, Youth Safety and Religion Partnership.
"We thank everyone who made this programme a success, especially our guest speakers and the parents who trusted us with their children. May you have a blessed 2019.
"I would like to mention the following especially and thank them for their contribution: the KwaNonqaba police's Sgt Tomela, the Department of Social Services' Welile Felakhe, the Department of Health's Sister Pedro Meyer, Dr Nzima and Pastor Nzima."
Besides being addressed on important topics pertaining to them, the youth had the opportunity to have fun.
