MOSSEL BAY NEWS - People who have to sit in traffic jams on Louis Fourie Road might be wondering when the road will be widened.
The Mossel Bay Advertiser contacted the Department of Transport and Public Works to find out when work on the road will start.
A spokesperson said the tender process for the widening of the road was finished. The tenders were now in the supply chain management process.
"Details such as the official start date, projected budget, and the duration of the project will be communicated once the successful bidder has been appointed," the spokesperson said.
"The Department will communicate on progress as soon as the process is completed. It is envisaged work will start early in the 2022/23 financial year."
