Update

GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The fraud case against wedding planner Werner Gilroy has been postponed to 3 December.

Gilroy appeared in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, 30 October, when the matter was postponed so that copies of the docket could be made.

He allegedly defrauded brides from throughout the country of thousands of rands, thought to total about R1 million, during 2020 and 2021.

Gilroy is from Mossel Bay and was the owner of the then Blue Lilies Wedding and Events company.
