MOSSEL BAY NEWS - In support of breast cancer awareness, the Mossel Bay Municipality embraced the Pink Trees concept.
The trunk of a tree on Marsh Street in front of the municipal main building is covered in pink.
The initiative is championed by Alderlady Venolea Fortuin and supported by Mossel Bay Tourism and the municipality's executive and employees.
"October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. By supporting the Pink Trees project, we hope it helps to increase attention and support for the awareness, early detection, and treatment as well as palliative care of this disease,” said Fortuin.
