MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Residents are advised that refuse removal will continue as usual during the holiday season, even on public holidays including Christmas and New Year's Day.

Residents are also kindly requested to sort household garbage and to make use of the blue bags for recyclable garbage such as paper and tins and green bags for garden refuse.

Mossel Bay Municipality is urging residents not to put garbage bags outside on their sidewalks the night before, but rather to do so on the morning of the scheduled removal. 

Vacation homeowners and holidaymakers are requested to dispose of garbage in the bulk containers in their area or at the landfill sites and not to leave black bags on sidewalks, should they leave for home before the scheduled removal has taken place.
