MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Advertiser interviewed Imekhaya Primary School principal, Lamla Boyana at the school on 19 November regarding what happened the previous day when children at the school became ill and had to be rushed to hospital.
The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness spokesperson Nadia Ferreira said 11 learners were brought to the emergency centre of the Mossel Bay Provincial Hospital after reportedly experiencing stomach cramps and itchy skin yesterday, 18 November 2024.
She said they were thoroughly assessed by a medical team and found to be stable and were discharged later yesterday.
