GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - An accident took place on the N2 near Glentana, east of Mossel Bay, today at about 08:30.
A vehicle left the road. No other vehicles were involved in the accident and there were no injuries. It was not necessary for the road to be closed to traffic.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp said Great Brak Police officers attended to the scene.
Normal accident report
A case of reckless and negligent driving was not opened; only a normal accident report was recorded, Kapp said.
He said said it appeared the vehicle left the road because of the slipperiness of the road after rain. The driver was a 37-year-old male, Kapp said. No one was injured in the accident.
