GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - Due to heavy rainfall major flooding is occurring in George.
Drain lids are lifting due to the flooding and the public is urged to stay off the roads where possible and until most water has run off.
All Go George bus services are temporarily suspended.

Motorists asked to drive very slow and carefully on N2 at the Gwaiing roadworks. The water is damming and makes driving very difficult.
The York Street circle is impassable from R102. Please use alternative access if possible.
