MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Advertiser today spotted Johan Bouwer at the Langeberg Mall sporting the most delightful face mask.
Bouwer lives in Rheebok and told the Advertiser that he bought the mask in support of the SPCA. "I bought it to help raise funds for animal food."
Masks are selling at R50. The Mossel Bay branch of the Garden Route SPCA is experiencing a dire need. "Times are really tough currently therefore pet food and blankets are most needed," says Gerda Reynders, branch manager. Reynders encouraged locals to also get their face masks a the SPCA during office hours, Monday to Friday, 09:00-16:00 and Saturdays, 09:00-11:00. "Best to order yours in advance.
They are quite popular," says Reynders. She also said that pre-orders are welcome since masks are ordered in bulk. Call the SPCA for more information (044 693 0824) or visit them in Bill Jeffrey Avenue for food deliveries.
