MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The KwaNonaqaba Police have opened an inquest docket following the death of two elderly people after an accident at Pinnacle Point Estate.
The incident happened yesterday, Wednesday 18 March, at approximately 18:00.
According to information from the KwaNonqaba Police, an elderly man (86), his wife (age unknown), his sister (91) and a domestic worker (age also unknown) were in a golf cart when the accident took place. The cart veered off the cart path into rough terrain.
The man and his sister suffered injuries during the accident and were taken to a local hospital. According to Sgt Kapp, the spokesperson of the KwaNonqaba Police, the sister died of her injuries in hospital last night. The man was transferred to a hospital in George, where he died in the early hours of the morning on 19 March.
According to information, the man was a resident at the estate.
