MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay Municipality has deployed several tourist monitors in the larger municipal area, who will assist tourists with advice and with deeds during the holiday season.
These young people report to the Economic Development Division and will serve as ambassadors for tourists, providing information of places of interest worth visiting, important facilities and contact numbers, where needed.
The staff are recognisable by the uniforms they will wear.
They have undergone training and have visited many of the tourist attractions, such as the St Blaize hiking trail, so that first-hand information can be disseminated.
The programme is another among several initiatives to make sure visitors to the greater Mossel Bay area return home from an unforgettable holiday experience in Mossel Bay, with fond memories.
Four of the tourist monitors, Sibusiso Busakwe, Clementhia Duitser, Bronwyn de Jager and Asiphe Mhaya, with Gwynne Harding (manager: Economic Development, Mossel Bay Municipality).
