MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A fire in the informal settlement, Gushindoda, Sixaxeni Street claimed the lives of three people today, 26 May.
According to Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp, a police spokesperson, police responded to a shack fire at 03:50.
“On arrival, other emergency services including the fire brigade were already on the scene.
"After the blaze was under control, three bodies were found under the burned rubble, later identified as a 16-year-old, a 19-year-old and a 26-year-old male, allegedly residents at the address of the scene.”
The KwaNonqaba police are investigating an inquest docket. Warrant Officer Geoffrey Moos is the investigating officer 044 606 5631/044 606 5606.
