MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay Municipality’s Waste Management and Law Enforcement departments took on the regular task of cleaning the taxi rank in the central business district of Mossel Bay on Tuesday, 2 August.
Complaints about vagrants in this area are common and it is an ongoing effort to clean and tidy the area.
Broken chairs, wood, tiles, cement pieces, soiled blankets and bedding were removed on Tuesday. A fire truck was on hand to help clean the paved areas. According to members of the Waste Management team, this task is done monthly or even more often, if necessary.
