Suspect hands himself over after stabbing

MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A 37-year-old man handed himself over to the Da Gamaskop police on Sunday, 4 August, following the death of a 19-year-old man.

The deceased was found lying in the street in the JCC neighbourhood at 04:05. It is believed he died of a single stab wound to the chest. 

The suspect claims he stabbed the man in self defence.

A murder docket has been opened. The case is being investigated by Wo Richard van Eyck. Anyone with information can contact him (071 470 9542).
