MOSSEL BAY NEWS - KwaNonqaba Police, with the assistance of George's Public Order Policing (POP) Unit, arrested four men for stock theft in the Gushindoda informal settlement in Asla Park, Mossel Bay, in the early hours of Saturday, 22 February.
KwaNonqaba Police Station spokesperson Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp said Kwa-Nonqaba Police received information about stolen sheep that were in Gushindoda.
With the help of the POP Unit, they recovered an undisclosed number of live merino sheep and merino sheepskins.
Kapp said four suspects were arrested on stock theft charges and they appeared in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on Monday, 24 February.
The matter is being investi-gated by the police's Stock Theft Unit in Oudsthoorn.
