MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Da Gamaskop Police have arrested three men believed to be involved in an armed robbery that took place at a shop in JCC Camp, Mossel Bay, just after 19:30 on Monday night, 9 June.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies said it was alleged that three men, one with a firearm, entered the shop and threatened the shopkeeper, demanding cash and cellphones.
The three then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount in cash and some cellphones.
The shopkeeper called the Da Gamaskop Police Station and the detectives there began investigating immediately.
Spies said the Da Gamaskop detectives "combed the scene for clues and immediately commenced with a search for the perpetrators".
He said the investigation led the team to a house in the vicinity, where three suspects were arrested.
"They will appear in court once charged."
