MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Doreen James' dream came true when two of her friends took her to see the replica of seafarer Bartolomeu Dias' caravel at the Maritime Museum in Mossel Bay.
She is a resident of Kenani Service Centre for senior citizens in town.

'Fantastic'
History enthusiast Doreen (89) said: "It was fantastic. I had really wanted to go for a long time. It was wonderful and I was speechless.
"I had read a lot about the history of the caravel and I love it!" she exclaimed.
