MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND VIDEO - The sub-Antarctic fur seal which was beached at Klein Brak, near Mossel Bay, returned to the water at about 13:15 today, Tuesday 31 May.

The Stranded Marine Animal Rescue Team's (S.M.A.R.T.) Val Marsh today told the Mossel Bay Advertiser at 13:15: "He has just got back into the water now."

But she added: "There’s always a possibility that he’ll come out again, maybe on another stretch of beach."

Today was his fifth day on the beach.
