International Firefighter’s Day is observed today, 4 May.
“Mossel Bay Municipality salutes the brave men and women serving in the Fire, Rescue and Disaster Management Services for protecting us, for often placing their lives on the line to save ours.
"We respect them for the long and arduous hours they work selflessly to safeguard others. They remain dedicated to the protection of life and property in all of our communities. Their bravery often goes unnoticed. Rarely are their sacrifices made a fuss of, yet they serve with pride.
