MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Plastic dumped in the ocean kills countless marine animals including whales, dolphins, turtles and seabirds across the globe.
On Saturday, 24 April, Round Table Mossel Bay 32, with the help of volunteers, managed to remove and dispose of a considerable amount of trash on a short stretch of beach from the Hartenbos main beach to the Hartenbos River mouth.
"The environmental initiative will be held on a regular basis to help in the fight against the devastating effects of ocean pollution," a spokesperson for the initiative said.
