MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Road resurfacing at on- and off-ramps in Louis Fourie Road and Marsh Street in Mossel Bay is scheduled to start on Monday 27 July.
In a public notice issued by the Mossel Bay Municipality on Wednesday 22 July, residents and road users are informed of the roadworks, which will be done at on- and off-ramps in Louis Fourie Road and Marsh Street.
The project is expected to continue for a period of one week between the hours of 18:00 and 05:00, weather permitting.
While the project is in progress, one ramp will be closed at a time and temporary signage will be placed to direct motorists to alternative routes.
The municipality has requested that motorists obey all temporary traffic signs and exercise caution in the construction area.
“The co-operation and patience of road users during this period is appreciated. Please drive carefully and allow additional travel time where necessary,” reads the notice.
