MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Da Gamaskop Police have arrested three suspects aged between 28 and 43 in connection with the murder of a man, whose body was found in some bushes in an open field between D’Almeida and Albert Luthuli Park in Mossel Bay on Thursday 8 October.
According to Western Cape Police spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk, an around-the-clock investigation over the weekend after members of the public made the shocking discovery on Thursday morning led to the arrests.
The victim was found lying in some bushes with stab wounds to his body and was declared dead by paramedics.
The suspects appeared in the Mossel Bay Magistrate’s Court on 13 October.
Although the victim’s name and exact age have not been shared with Mossel Bay Advertiser, his family has reportedly identified him.
“The investigation remains ongoing,” says Van Wyk.
