Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A four-year-old Yorkshire terrier named Chloe is still being searched for by her owner, since she went missing from 20 Nerina Road, Dana Bay on 29 December.
Chloe's owner, Elsje Laas was originally offering a R2 000 reward for her safe return but has since upped the reward amount to R10 000.
Laas says she is grateful to the many community members who have spent many hours over the last few days searching for Chloe.
She says people were driving and walking around Dana Bay, looking for Chloe, with someone even using a drone to try and locate her.
Laas says a woman even came from Plettenberg Bay with her sniffer dog to try and trace Chloe. Laas says they had narrowed down where Chloe was last seen. However, they are unable to reach her due to the thick bushes and how scared she is.
Laas says it has been an incredibly emotional time for her and her family. "We are waiting for a miracle," she says.
Chloe has a pink collar with her name on the tag and Laas's cellphone number. Should anyone find Chloe, call Laas on 084 446 1713.
