GREAT BRAK RIVER NEWS - A treasured pillar of the Great Brak River community, Rene de Kock, passed away on Monday night, 10 June.
Rene was head of the Great Brak Museum for many years and made a huge contribution to the Great Brak and greater Garden Route area through his love and passion for and knowledge of museum and historical matters.
Rene was also chairman of Heritage Mossel Bay for a number of years.
Memorial service
The Mossel Bay Advertiser contacted Rene’s daughter, Colleen Chatt, who said that the memorial service for Rene was still being planned.
As soon as arrangements for the memorial service have been finalised, the Advertiser will publish the details.
