MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay Municipality will remove household refuse according to the usual schedule. 

Areas that usually have their refuse removed on a Friday or a Monday can place their refuse bags on the sidewalk early on the morning of the specific day in question to be removed.

Holidaymakers who may go home earlier and are unable to put the rubbish outside on the scheduled day are requested to use the bulk rubbish bins (Molloks) conveniently placed across town.

Ten bulk rubbish bins have been installed to make it easier to recycle and dispose of rubbish effectively. The containers are placed at strategic locations, including at Crook and Montagu Streets in the central business district.

In Heiderand, there are containers in Ceder and Apiesdoring Streets. Also, containers have been installed at the Kleinbrak parking area; in Kusweg; at the municipal offices in Great-Brak River; at Island View; and the community hall in Dana Bay.
