MOSSEL BAY NEWSFLASH - Members of the KwaNonqaba Police Station were rewarded for their service excellence at a prestigious function last Friday.
Several of the speakers mentioned the dire conditions prevalent at this police station, and lauded the police officers for their motivated service to their community despite the challenges they face.
The chairperson of the KwaNonqaba Community Policing Forum, Edgar Ntebe, said the service excellence awards were due recognition for members who were inspired by strong, visionary leaders.
He rued the fact that the station had to bid farewell to both the erstwhile station commander, Colonel Johann Braaf, who was transferred to Beaufort West, and Captain TC le Roux, the head of administration, who was transferred to the Mossel Bay Police Station.
