MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND VIDEO - The Point High School matrics returned to school on 1 June for the first time after the lockdown.
The children queued along the palisade fencing outside the school, keeping a 1.5 metre distance from one another.
Inside, on the school grounds, it looked odd, the matrics standing 1.5 metres apart, but still trying to chat to one another. It was certainly something different from what learners were used to.

A spokesperson for the school said the learners and staff were extremely diligent about keeping to protocol and the school was proud of this.
Although it was dark when the learners got to school, at least their first day back was not chilly. The temperature was moderate.
