MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND VIDEO - The PHS (Point High School) Sirens made waves at their very first South African Majorettes and Cheer Association competition, held on Saturday, 17 May, in Oudtshoorn.
Not only was it their first competition, but they came first.
Team coach, Tanielle Moody, said: "I just want to give credit to my team. They worked hours and hours to perfect their dance. They deserve this win."
There are still two district competitions ahead of them. If they place in the top three there, they will qualify for the nationals which take place in June in Oudtshoorn.
"Our goal is to be in the top five at the nationals," said Moody.
