MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A head pastor of a church in Mossel Bay who is accused of rape made a brief court appearance in the Mossel Bay magistrates Court today.
The 60-year-old suspect was arrested in October last year and was previously granted bail of R5 000.
The charges relate to alleged incidents in 2021 during which a 20-year-old woman was allegedly raped by the pastor on several occasions, including at a church in Mossel Bay.
The name of the suspect may not be released until he has pleaded.
The case was postponed to the 23rd of February for a regional court date.
